Recorded at Standard Electric Recorders Co. in Atlanta during the fall of 2025, this new album represents another shift for the band. While much of the group’s previous material was developed through live performances, this album features 10 brand new songs written specifically for the studio, none of which were performed live prior to their recording. The influence of the studio space on this release cannot be overstated, as many of the tracks showcase instruments and equipment previously unavailable to the band, including rare guitars, vintage synthesizers, and analog processors.
“A Noise Without A Name” also marks the first ever studio recording with the newest member of Underground Springhouse, drummer AJ Covey, whose understated yet sophisticated style behind the kit and world percussion expertise bring each song to life. Additionally, the album exhibits the lead vocal debut of members Mitch Davidson and Max Motley, adding another fresh layer to the release. Out everywhere on May 1, 2026!

“The Sparrow,” from Underground Springhouse’s upcoming album A Noise Without A Name, is a reflective meditation on love, loss, and the weight of change. The song’s dynamic arrangement moves seamlessly between smooth, driving, and dreamlike passages mirroring the emotional highs and lows that come with life’s most meaningful transitions. Written and composed by Mitch Davidson, “The Sparrow” marks his vocal debut with the band, adding a new dimension to its sound. The result is both an intimate confession and a universal story of navigating the inevitable shifts that shape our lives.

The new single “I’m a Couch” by Underground Springhouse may initially come off as a silly tune due to the title, but is actually a heartfelt and honest account personifying the struggles that come with losing a loved one. It has a calm and catchy groove, a pleasing motif with harmonized guitar parts, and sincere vocals that exude a bittersweet feeling. “Lyrically this is the most proud I’ve been of a song that I’ve written”, says Haas. “We kept it pretty simple, it didn’t need a million tracks”. The song features most of the expected Springhouse instrumentation, but has more of a focal point on the acoustic guitar and synthesizer, which is a theme throughout the band’s new album, “A Noise Without a Name”.

With its southern rock and classic rock influences, “13 Days” explores the indecision one can face when life presents one of its biggest forks in the road. Written by bassist Jackson Thompson, “13 Days” features a tender-hearted chorus that leaves a sense of optimism, despite the lack of a clear resolution. Released 3/20/26.

“Late Night Breakfast, Vol. 1” This album features 20 live tracks from 14 different shows between Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, including originals and covers hand selected by the band. Released on 8/25/24

“I Recall,” features five new songs and showcases the band’s honing of their songwriting craft. On certain tracks the group explores newer influences like bluegrass and Americana, while on others they expand on more familiar styles like reggae and funk. All the while, the band stays true to their motto and their sound by including sing-along choruses and dance-worthy rhythms across the EP. Released on 3/17/23
